We're a group of Geocachers based mostly in Gloucestershire/Warwickshire/Worcestershire, who prefer to go caching by byway, not highway! - we have a popular forum to chat about caching and walks; and we often hold listed events (usually with a pre-event group walk, before the pub meet!) and group outings to go caching/walking!
CacheWalker came to be in September 2007, when founding members bikermel76, Wrighty, Mrs Wrighty, Schnarff and JimJinks thought it would be a good idea to set off on a group walk caching together, guided by the cache owner himself. They found it a lot of fun, and felt that it brought a whole new element to caching. In December of that year, they organised a second group walk, this time as a listed event on Geocaching.com, which was well-attended. It was the start of regular events, and a forum was soon launched as a place to chat about caching and share walking routes. The group grew and grew, and at one of our latest events the group of 5 has grown to a group of over 50.
We discuss all things caching and share walking routes daily on our forum. This website can be used as a useful resource for looking at the walks we have submitted, and all other things CacheWalker.
